There is a growing consensus that urban sustainability requires the alignment of efforts from local governments, the private sector and support institutions. Yet although researchers and communities are eager to collaborate, a frequent refrain is that there are no clear points for entry. This sub-plenary session will investigate promising solutions for city-researcher collaboration.
