Sub-Plenary 3: Partnerships: City-business Cooperation for Sustainable Urban Infrastructure

Languages: EN, KO, ES

Partner: World Business Council on Sustainable Development

In addition to integration environmental criteria into procurement processes, local and regional governments and business continue to develop new models for cooperation to foster local sustainability. However, institutional barriers can limit city-business engagement where it is most critical – early in the planning process. This session will showcase leading examples of effective collaboration, drawing on the perspectives of business and city leaders.
