Lawyer, graduated at the Catholic University of Ecuador, with a Master’s Degree in International Environmental Law at The American University, Washington D.C. Veronica contributes to the sustainable development and environmental conservation. Pioneer in developing legal instruments for private conservation in Ecuador and Latin America, Veronica has a wide experience in legislation focusing in national and international environmental policies, and coordinating multidisciplinary teams in various countries. Veronica has been member of the Ecuadorian negotiation representatives for the Conservation for Biological Diversity, and former President of the Ecuadorian Center of Environmental Law-CEDA, consultant in legislation, social responsibility, and environmental law, as well as speaker in environmental issues at the San Francisco University of Quito, University of the Americas, and SEK University.
